Initially being adopted by only a few countries around the world, mandatory Customs pre-notification programs are rapidly spreading.
Since in early 2011, a pre notification scheme covers the 27 member countries of the EU (ICS).
These systems imply additional effort and cost to Cargolux. Therefore Cargolux introduces a fee for this activity.
Actual fees will be advised by the company’s regional/local offices, as they will vary depending on the local cost and operational situation. (See details below)

For the EU, “self-filing” will initially not be supported by Cargolux as the scheme will be new and we will require actual experience with it, first.
